Just returned after a weeks stay. What a beautiful hidden gem this campsite is. Beautiful site with spacious pitches and spotless facilities. Helpful and friendly wardens and a lovely gift shop and tea room on site. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning.

A fabulous 3 night stay last week – absolutely stunning scenery and a perfect site in so many ways. We couldn’t fault the amenities and the shower/toilet block was the cleanest ever experienced. The site is just a 5 minute walk from the shops/cafe’s in Devil’s Bridge which makes it a really great site all round. Mark and Kelly were really friendly and helpful and their love for the site is obvious. Can’t wait to re-visit.

What a beautiful part of the world to pitch up. The scenery is stunning and is so quiet, apart from the sheep and owls. The hard standing pitch was large and level. The amenity block is obviously new and very, very clean and tidy. It was cleaned three times a day. Food is also available from the on-site cafe. The Friday fish and chip supper was extremely good and couldn’t be any fresher Devil’s Bridge was only a five minute walk away. Definitely worth a visit whether you do the short or longer viewing. Just around the corner from there is The Hafod hotel and bar, also worth a visit whether for food or just a drink. Finally, a few minutes further along the road is the little steam train which goes to Aberwyswth. The scenery from the train is stunning too. Highly recommended site if you are looking to camp in Mid-Wales.

A lovely site. Met by a friendly lady who explained where the pitch was. Facilities block was exceptionally clean and tidy and lovely hot showers, the same goes for the washing up facilities. Good food wagon at the entrance but unfortunately the Cafe was closed. Great location and Llanechaeron House and gardens are well worth a visit. Overall a great site and would recommend it.

Considering all the restrictions of these days what a wonderful site. Extremely relaxing with great atmosphere and staff/ owners still keeping a smile ( not to mention they just won loo of year ironically as we were not all to see them but you will from days to come) A big thanks for such a delightful place. Anyone coming take the time to walk the falls. A challenge but well worth it if you take the time Ed and Liz

We stayed at Woodlands last year. What a lovely site with friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. The best site I have ever stayed at. We had booked for Bank Holiday weekend this year but it looks like this will not now go ahead. We hope our bookings will stand for when we can go back again we are a group of Morris dancers hoping to dance in the area and don’t want to stay anywhere else

We stayed here for two nights in mid-September 2019. There are lots of great things about this site. The caravan and camping area is spacious and the caravan pitches are large and easy to manoeuvre into. This area is set away from the road and backed by lovely fells to which there is easy access for walking. Although there are also statics here, they are discretely laid out and in separate areas. The facilities block is new, attractive, clean and loads more complimentary words! There is lots of space for children and some swings etc. All the notices are done in a friendly way. The staff we met were welcoming, helpful and friendly, especially when it came to discussing the best way to get back from Aberystwyth after the train ride. We were in the caravan area, but the camping area looked equally good. All in all a really nice place.

Lovely set up, clean and good facilities. But it has a few issues. Firstly no dog field to let your dog’s have a run around (must be on lead all the time). Secondly the sheep which surround the site on all sides are a lot noisier than you would think bleating ALL night. And lastly and the reason we cut our stay short and left early as we could not stand it any longer are the flies (we got eaten alive) and after two nights it was easier to count the places not bitten than how many bites we had. That said if you don’t have dogs and you do not mind being bitten to death there some lovely walks and there is a very nice little on site tea rooms, it’s right next to devil’s bridge and only a short drive from alot of other lovely towns and villages.
